Custom Shaft Options
The Pro Shaft:
The Meucci Pro Series shaft is now standard with most Meucci or BMC series cues. It has a thru to the tip, half inch polycarbonate ferrule, and is available for all cues if you want to take your game to the next level. Unlike other "high performance" shafts, this shaft has low effective deflection and is a full 12.5 millimeters with a full 14" Pro Taper like all standard Meucci Cues. According to many top players who have tested this shaft "it is the best playing cue I've ever hit a ball with". The Meucci Pro Series shaft is constructed from a single solid piece of hard rock maple. If you are trying to enhance your skills on the table, this remarkable shaft is the perfect tool for the job.
Red Dot Shaft:
The new and improved Red Dot shaft facilitates perfect positioning for consistent and predictable results when shooting with high, low, left, or right English or any combination thereof. It has the same taper as The Pro shaft, but for those ol' School Meucci fans, we kept the 1.25-inch ferrule, and it comes standard with the FIRE Ultraskin Medium tip.
Meucci Classic Shaft:
The Meucci Classic is the shaft used by over 70% of the players on the Pro Tour between 1975 and 1996. Although the deflection is slightly higher than that of The Pro, Carbon Pro, and Red Dot shafts, its "one piece" design affords the ability to masse or jump full table and increase English with less effort and less deflection than most custom shafts manufactured today.
Kielwood Pro Shaft:
The Meucci "Kielwood" Pro shaft is crafted from hard Maple that has gone through the torrefaction process and offers superior strength. It gives a stiffer hit than our standard Pro shaft. The "Kielwood" Pro shaft features Meucci's signature low-deflection technology, allowing for greater accuracy and precision in your shots. This shaft is compatible with most Meucci pool cues and is perfect for players looking to upgrade their current cue. Whether you're a professional player or a serious amateur, the Meucci Kielwood Pro shaft is sure to help you elevate your game and take your shots to the next level. *The color of the shaft naturally occurs as the wood is roasted and will vary by shaft.
Meucci Carbon Pro Shaft:
Made with Multi-Directional Carbon Fiber filaments creating a homogenous spine and uniform hit. Polyurethane Foam Core - with varied density which is plugged with maple at both ends, giving you the warm sound and feel, without the annoying clinking noise found in other carbon fiber shafts. Lightweight Construction - Less weight creates less weight on your bridge hand which provides more cue ball control and a steady stroke. Benefitting from the ultra-strong carbon composite construction, each Carbon Fiber shaft features Meucci's lightweight front-end construction. Yet, unlike other Carbon shafts which have a distracting hollow sound, Meucci's Carbon Fiber Pro is not hollow at any point in the construction. Pro Taper (15 inches) - Allowing for a steady bridge, the pro taper has been the choice of pool players for decades. Each Carbon Fiber Pro shaft has virtually no rise at 15 inches, allowing for a more consistent stroke, regardless of the player's stroke length. 1/2 inch Ferrule - The ferrule, not only aids in aim contrast and depth perception, but it also provides a more familiar and stable platform for tip maintenance and replacement over the life of the shaft.
