Founded in 1983, Pool & Billiard Magazine<\/em><\/a> is the sport\u2019s oldest monthly magazine. P&B is run by BCA Hall of Famers like Buddy Hall, Loree Jon Jones, Ray Martin, Phil Capel and more. Anybody that wants to keep up with the latest news should think about signing up for a subscription. There\u2019s a physical print magazine<\/a> or a digital version called P&B Ezine<\/em><\/a> that you can flip through. \u00a0Both cost $19.95.<\/p>\n

Game Tables Online in P&B Magazine<\/h2>\n

Game Tables Online<\/em><\/a> will appear on page 24 of the October 2014 Issue of Pool & Billiards Magazine<\/strong>. Our column talks about our sponsorship of the Billiard Education Foundation<\/em><\/a>, a non-profit charity that hosts youth events and provides academic scholarships for rising stars. The BEF<\/em> was created\u00a0by the Billiard Congress of America<\/em><\/a>\u00a0and continues to organize state-wide, national, and international events and tournaments around the world.<\/p>\n

Page 24 announces the 9 student-athletes<\/span> who have qualified to represent North America as part of Team USA<\/strong> at the upcoming WPA<\/em> (World Pool-Billiard Association) Junior 9-Ball Championships. \u00a0Go USA!!!<\/strong><\/span> \u00a0This year the championships will be held in Shanghai, China<\/span> beginning on November 14-18<\/span>.<\/p>\n

We encourage anyone interested in giving back to the community to donate to the BEF. They host events like the Jr. State championships<\/a>, Jr. National 9-Ball Championships<\/a>, and Jr. World Championships<\/a>.     Get Your Kids Involved!<\/h2>\n

    Parents can learn about getting their children involved as well. Starting kids off at a young age fosters a long-lasting passion for cue sports.<\/p>\n

    Events like Challenge the Stars even lets them play against top world and junior championship players, something many kids used to dream of! Last year, Jennifer Barreta, Shane VanBoening, Dennis Orcullo, and Jason \u201cThe Michigan Kid\u201d<\/em> Lynch<\/strong> were among the long list of players who showed up to enjoy a night of fun with up and coming stars!<\/p>\n
