The Atherton is created with shock resistant beech boards. Using beech allows the playfield to be a thin 2.12" for superior playability. The playfield is topped with poured polymer resin and balance sealed, 1/8" thick. This polymer is resistant to yellowing and is rock-hard. The Atherton is warp-resistant due to the polymer resin poured on the top and bottom of the playfield. The steel Climate Adjusters are designed for strength and to keep the board at the proper tension, year-round. Black walnut makes up the scoring areas. Padded end collars protect the collar from flying pucks and give you a hand hold for shooting. The cradle is built with solid hardwood that will not shift during a game. Standard blue and red pucks are included.
The Atherton Shuffleboard is completely customizable. In place of the California House inlaid logo, your own custom logo can be added in gorgeous black walnut. Choose your finish color and fabrics to match your gaming room décor. The alley fabrics are made of microfibers, making them easy to clean and looks better than carpet.
